SAN LORENZO VALLEY


The San Lorenzo Valley is comprised of the following cities; Scotts Valley, Big Basin, Ben Lomond, Boulder Creek, Brookdale, Bonny Doon and Felton. This is a beautiful are full of lush redwood forests. Residents here enjoy the simpler way of life away from the hustle of larger cities. There are no track home neighborhoods in this area; it is mostly made up of cabin chalets and mountain style homes.

 

There are many small gallery shops along Highway 9 where you will find the handiwork of many local artists.

 

California's oldest state park - Big Basin - comprises much of the landscape, along with Henry Cowell Redwoods State Park, Fall Creek State Park, and Loch Lomond Recreation Area. You will also find here the Boulder Creek Golf and Country Club.

 

Felton, the south most area of San Lorenzo is only about 12 miles from the Santa Cruz Beaches, and about 30 miles to San Jose´s Silicon Valley.
