From his own words, Tyler realizes that buying a home is one of the most momentous events in anyone’s life and has committed his time to treating each client and transaction with the care it deserves. Tyler was born and raised in the Eastern Sierra Mountains near the town of Mammoth Lakes, California. After getting his bachelor’s degree from Azusa Pacific University, he became a general contractor building custom homes. Tyler married his wife, Hannah, in 2009. They have three gorgeous kids and a St. Bernard.
Tyler was a training captain at Long Valley Fire Department for 16 years when the opportunity to move to Idaho came through a job offer for Hannah to manage hospital emergencies in the Treasure Valley. Pivoting from the fire service, he decided to use his knowledge of homes and building to help buyers find their dream property.
Fun facts – Tyler has traveled over the years to Bolivia, Argentina, Honduras, China, Zambia & Thailand twice to help reconstruct homes and aid families after natural disasters had devastated the regions. Haakana is pronounced HAH-kuh-nah.
