West Eagle is north of Highway 44 and west of Eagle Road. In this area you will find a plethora of new construction as the city expands towards Highway 16. Correspondingly, many of these new neighborhoods offer a myriad of amenities. There are walking paths, playgrounds, pools, ponds, common areas and water features to name a few.
Some of the newer neighborhoods include Homestead, Lilac Springs, Syringa, Eagle Mountain Estates and Legacy. The latter is known for its 3-hole golf course, multiple pools, playgrounds, water features and ponds. We can provide an amenities list of each location upon request.
Furthermore, the west side of Eagle is home to various acreage properties in and around the foothills. Many of these residences have outbuildings and equine facilities. Simultaneously, the foothills give access to over 1,600 acres of Bureau of Land Management (BLM) land in the foothills. The community can enjoy hiking, biking, ATV riding, shooting and horseback riding with public access off Hartley Road.
This part of Eagle is also home to the following public schools according to GreatSchools.org: Eagle Middle, Eagle High, Eagle Elementary, Galileo STEM Magnet and North Star Charter.
